Frequently Asked Questions

DRESS CODE

Standard golf attire. No cut-off shorts, work boots, or high heels. We would suggest collared shirts or golf tops, with tailored trousers, golf shorts, or golf skirts. For comfort and safety, we recommend proper golf shoes with soft spikes. Thank you for your cooperation.

RENTAL CLUBS

For your convenience, rental clubs are available to participants at no additional cost. If you need rental clubs, you can request them on the online golfer registration form circulated prior to the tournament. If you indicate that you want rental clubs, our staff will have them ready for you on the day of the event.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

We will have a shotgun start. That means all groups start their rounds at the same time, each group teeing off from a different hole. No actual shotguns involved. It’s an efficient way to kick off the event and ensures that everyone finishes around the same time, facilitating post-round activities and prize presentation.

Every participating golfer will be assigned a starting hole, and groups will progress through the course following a predetermined route. Detailed information will be provided upon your arrival.

ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS

To ensure a smooth start to your day, please follow these arrival instructions:

1. Upon arrival at the club, please proceed directly to the bag drop area located in the front of the clubhouse. Our friendly staff will assist you with unloading your golf equipment and provide necessary assistance.

2. After dropping off your bags, you may then proceed to the designated parking lot for the North or South course.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to ask our staff members or volunteers at the bag drop area or clubhouse.

An email with further instructions will be circulated a few days prior to the event.

WEATHER POLICY

The Urban Angel Golf Classic is a “Rain or Shine” event. Unless conditions pose a threat to the health and safety of employees and participants, we’re playing! In the event that golf superintendents deem it necessary to close the course due to dangerous weather conditions or other safety concerns, the tournament will be rescheduled. This decision will be made with the utmost consideration for the well-being of everyone involved. All registered participants will be promptly contacted with details regarding the new event date and any necessary adjustments to the schedule.

ALCOHOL POLICY

Alcoholic beverages will be served to those of legal drinking age. We ask everyone to please be considerate of others and refrain from excessive drinking. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

NOTICE OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Please be aware that we will be taking photographs and videos during the event for promotional and documentation purposes. By participating in the tournament, you acknowledge that your image may be captured, either in still or video form, and you consent to having those images shared online and used in promotional materials at the discretion of the event organizer. Signs will be displayed onsite to remind participants of the photography policy. If you have any concerns about this, please don't hesitate to reach out to a member of our staff. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Participants found to be engaging in such behaviour conduct may be subject to disciplinary action, including disqualification from the tournament and removal from the premises.
